I am a freelancer who enjoys photographing a mixture of commercial and editorial photography, along with private commissions primarily on location. I am comfortable meeting people and making connections quickly, which helps nurture an atmosphere where individuals can show their best selves. My documentary projects explore themes of community and the rituals that bind them. I am interested in communities in transition and how connections and rituals are continued through adaptation. Along with my photographic practice I also teach photography to youth and adults through Centennial College, Gallery 44 and as an artist in the school with the TDSB. Currently I am a member of PhotoSensitive, with work in collections at the Jewish Museum Berlin, MOCCA and the Canadian War Museum.
