Tobi Asmoucha's photographs are images taken from what is existing but not immediately recognized; these unspoken significant moments are indicative of the essence of the person area or event illustrated.

Without pretenses Asmoucha is upfront with the subjects letting her intuition take the lead. The photographs are blue prints of Tobi's relationship to the communities and individuals she has visited. The images are about life's constantly occurring mysteries, leading the viewer and photographer to personal insights and clearer understandings of their connection to one another.
